ZeroEight ran a wormhole corporation and alliance during the COVID period. Back then, the group lived permanently in J-Space — structures, fuel, POSes, the lot.
It was a good time. But eventually the administration, logistics and leadership consumed more hours than actually playing the game. When real life returned to normal, he stepped away.
The Flying Zabutons was built to take the best parts of wormhole life and cut the overhead. Stage somewhere convenient in Highsec. Scan into J-Space. Find content. Fight people. Go home. Keep logistics simple. Keep leadership light. Keep the game fun.

What Is A Zabuton? 座布団
座布団 · ざぶとん
A zabuton is a traditional Japanese floor cushion. In sumo, spectators throw zabuton into the air after a major upset — when the natural order breaks and the underdog takes the bout.
That is the whole idea. When the natural order gets upset, the Zabutons fly.
The logo carries the character 座 — "seat" or "sitting place" — the first character in 座布団. We hunt from a seat of our own choosing, not one assigned to us.
